Cabinet Makers Caloundra
Custom Cabinets In Caloundra
Caloundra sits at the southern end of the Sunshine Coast, and it proudly has a character all of its own. From the iconic Norfolk pines and older brick homes of Kings Beach to the canal-front properties of Pelican Waters, the relaxed beachside streets of Golden Beach, through to the busy commercial area in Caloundra West. It's a diverse suburb with a long-established community and a genuine sense of place.
The homes here reflect that history. Many are well-loved originals that owners are now renovating and updating. Others are newer builds where buyers have put serious thought into the finish. Either way, the people who live in Caloundra tend to know what they want — and they want it done well. Kitchen renovations in Caloundra are a common upgrade along with bathrooms too.
Well built custom cabinetry is what Serrata Joinery do best.
We're a Sunshine Coast cabinet making and joinery business based at Kunda Park. Our team regularly work with clients right across the Caloundra area. Whether you're updating a kitchen in a beachside home at Kings Beach, fitting out a new bathroom in Pelican Waters apartment, or adding custom storage to a family home in Little Mountain, we can build your new cabinetry that is made to last — and made to impress too.
Custom Cabinetry Built For Your Home
Every new project we take on is custom made. Each space is different and the way you use your home is unique too. That means there are no flat-pack shortcuts here and no cookie-cutter designs. Our team will work closely with you from the initial consultation through to installation of your kitchen or other cabinets or wardrobes. This helps ensure the finished result fits your space, your style and the way you actually intend to live.
Our Cabinet Services in Caloundra
New Kitchen Cabinets & Renovations
Caloundra has a lot of homes that were built to a solid standard decades ago — and plenty of owners who are now ready to bring the kitchen up to modern standards. We design and build custom kitchen cabinets from scratch, tailored to your layout and your lifestyle. The result is a kitchen that works better, looks better, and holds up far longer than anything off a showroom floor.
We can also install new custom kitchen cabinets for new builds in places such as Aura or any new home or apartment you are building.
Bathroom & Laundry Cabinetry
A well-designed vanity or laundry cabinet makes a real difference to how a room functions day to day. We build custom bathroom and laundry cabinetry using quality materials that handle the Queensland humidity, finished to a standard that makes the whole space feel intentional and complete.
Custom Wardrobes & Storage
Caloundra homes vary enormously in size and layout — from compact beachside units to large family homes on generous blocks. Whatever your space, we design and build custom wardrobe and storage solutions to your exact dimensions, preferred layout and finish of choice.
Outdoor Kitchens
Caloundra's coastal setting and reliable sunshine make outdoor entertaining a natural part of life here. We build outdoor kitchens that are genuinely built for Queensland. Made with durable, weather-resistant materials, finished to the same standard as everything we make indoors, and designed to make the most of your outdoor space.
Commercial Projects
We also take on commercial joinery work across the Sunshine Coast. From shopfits to custom installations, we're QBCC licensed and experienced across a wide range of project types. If you want new kitchen cabinets in Caloundra or any other cabinet maker service, contact us today.

Why Are Serrata Joinery A Great Choice As Cabinet Maker In Caloundra
Caloundra is a community that's been here a while. People know their neighbours, they take pride in their homes, and they're not interested in cutting corners. When it comes to cabinetry, they want tradespeople who show up on time, communicate clearly, and deliver a finished product they're genuinely proud of.
We're not the cheapest option on the Sunshine Coast, and we don't aim to be. What we offer is craftsmanship and finish that holds up over time, delivered by a team that cares about the end result as much as you do.

Caloundra Cabinet Maker FAQs
Do you service all of Caloundra?
Yes. We regularly work across the Caloundra area, including Kings Beach, Golden Beach, Pelican Waters, Little Mountain, Caloundra West and the newer estates at Aura. We're based at Kunda Park, so the southern end of the Sunshine Coast is well within our regular service area. We also service nearby Currimundi, Wurtulla and Kawana.
Will custom cabinetry hold up in a beachside Caloundra home?
It will if it's built with the right materials. Homes close to the water at Kings Beach, Moffat Beach and Golden Beach cop salt air and humidity year-round, which is tough on cheap board, hinges and runners. We choose finishes and hardware suited to coastal conditions so your cabinets keep working smoothly and looking good for years, not just the first summer.
Can you build cabinets for a new home at Aura or Caloundra West?
Absolutely. Many new home owners in Aura and Caloundra West choose to upgrade from the builder's standard cabinetry to something custom. We can work alongside your builder on timing, or come in after handover to fit out your kitchen, wardrobes, laundry or bathroom vanities. Getting in touch early helps us plan around your build schedule.
I'm renovating an older Caloundra home. Do I have to keep the existing kitchen layout?
Not at all. Many of Caloundra's older brick and beachside homes have kitchens designed for the way people lived decades ago. During the design consultation, we'll look at how you actually use the space and whether a new layout, an island, or better storage would work better. Where plumbing or electrical changes are needed, we can coordinate with the right trades.
Can you fit out an apartment or unit in Caloundra?
Yes. We build kitchens, vanities and wardrobes for apartments and units across Caloundra, from compact beachside units to newer complexes in Pelican Waters. If your building has a body corporate, it's worth checking their renovation requirements early, such as work hours, lift access and approvals, so installation runs smoothly.
Do you build outdoor kitchens for canal-front and coastal homes?
We do. Outdoor kitchens are a popular choice for Pelican Waters canal homes and anyone making the most of Caloundra's outdoor lifestyle. We build them using durable, weather-resistant materials designed for Queensland sun, rain and salt air, finished to the same standard as our indoor cabinetry.
How long does a custom kitchen take?
Timing depends on the size of the project, the materials you choose and our current schedule. We'll give you a clear timeline when we quote, so you can plan around it.
Are you licensed cabinet makers?
Yes. Serrata Joinery is QBCC licensed (Lic. #1532 7517), and we handle both residential and commercial joinery work across Caloundra and the wider Sunshine Coast.
